Voter Information

All voters who will be 18 years of age by Tuesday, November 7, 2017 are eligible to vote in this election. In Washington State, we are all absentee voting, meaning you will receive your ballot in the mail and return in by mail or in a local drop box.

To register to vote, visit the Secretary of State's website.

The deadline to register to vote online or by mail for this election is October 9, 2017. The deadline to register in person at the Auditor's Office is October 30, 2017.

Ballots will be mailed on October 18. If you do not receive a ballot by October 27, please contact the Auditor's Office at (360) 337-7128.

The election is Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Ballots must be postmarked or put in a drop box by 8:00 p.m. on election day to be counted.

Drop boxes in Port Orchard are located at:

  • Kitsap County Auditor's Office, 619 Division Street, Port Orchard
  • SKFR Station 8, 1974 Fircrest Drive SE, Port Orchard
  • SKFR Station 17, 7990 McCormick Woods Drive SW, Port Orchard
